Technologies used
HTML
This website uses HTML for markup. The W3C continues to recommend the use of either XHTML 1.1, XHTML 1.0, or HTML 4.01 for web publishing. We choose to use HTML 4.01 as it is most widely supported by client browsers.
CSS Presentation
Our pages are written to utilise CSS technology. A Cascading Style Sheet allows you to change the appearance of a web page with ease. We use CSS for maximum flexibility. Using CSS seperates the content from the style, allowing users to modify the style to their own requirements.
Standards Compliant
Our web pages are standards compliant and validate as valid HTML and CSS (using the W3C validation tools). Code validation is a good aid to make a site accessible, but it takes smart coding to make a site truly accissible. We always have access in mind when designing and maintaining webpages.
