Each artist or group will also received £500 from the sponsoring organization. The Festival won the Mersey Tourism Award for Best Small Event in 2005, and as a result DaDaFest 2006 become even bigger and better. Over 7,000 votes were cast from as far away as New Zealand, Japan and Canada.
The awards will be presented at the Crowne Plaza, St Nicholas Place, Liverpool from 7pm, 30th November 2006. Bert Massie, chair of the Disability Rights Commission and NWDAF's new Patron, Mike McCartney will also be in attendance.
