Gemma Nash
I am a multi media artist, working in a variety of art forms including photography and music technology - I have mixed and produced my own tracks. Taking inspiration from Laurence Clark, I use digital music and photography skills to create comedy sketches incorporating PowerPoint into my performance. I write and produce all my work, I have appeared at the Comedy Store in Manchester, the Rawhide Comedy Club in Liverpool as well as various 'Gong' nights and competitions. I will also be taking part in DaDaFest again this year as well as training with the Nasty Girls.
Frank Essery
I attended Reading University to study Theatre of the Deaf Diploma. I joined various theatre companies such as Show of Hands, Tandem, Mockbeggar. I was in couple of films such as Silent Film and Soul Suitcase (Canada)
I am involved with MerseySign Theatre Group; we devise a play base on past deaf community and our experience, Comedy and Tragedy.
Gareth Berliner
I'm a stand-up comedian working as part of the Abnormally Funny people cast as well as a solo standup. I've been doing this for four years and my first show was all about growing up with Crohns Disease and now having Short Gut Syndrome.The show was called Gutless and I intend to take it to Medical Educational Establishments for educational purposes. Gutless is a triumph over adversity tale that makes people look at how we view disability, ill health, recovery and redemption. I've performed it in Australia, London and Australia.
