Matthew Jenkins
Matthew Jenkins is obsessed with the flowing liquid texture of the paint and seeing how it spreads and dries. In Matthew's work he observes how the flow of paint itself creates and develops a surface. He pours the paint but leaves the surface forms to evolve naturally without his control. Much of Matthew's early work comprises dogs and figurative expressions of their humorous nature and characteristics. Jenkins continues to paint and explore the medium of video work. He has also exhibited over Britain and internationally in such places as Amsterdam, Reims, Stockholm and Toronto. Born Neath, 1981, He lives and works in Bridgend, South Wales.

Jon Adams
My work resonates around the themes of disability access and I am proud to use the 'label', Disability Artist, my so-called 'impairment' informing my practice with possibility and a multitude of creative ideas. It explores dyslexia and aspergers, combining graphics and visual elements with interactive installation, involving generative music derived from spoken word, triggered by invisible controllers. I am currently working through an Artplus 07-development award interviewing dyslexic rail passengers to illustrate and map personal journey. I leave 'found' art in the form of signs and notices that I have subverted with a disability issue flavour.
I believe my work can contribute awareness of disability arts, informing others of potential above and beyond the unenlightened 'basket weaving therapy' mentality of previous years.
